Make a Testing Appointment

STEP 1: Apply to De Anza College and know your De Anza Student ID#.

STEP 2: Review the current testing schedule

STEP 3: Request an appointment at least one (1) month in advance of your registration date(s).

If you have already taken a placement test/exam within the Foothill-De Anza Community College District, you should review the Foothill-De Anza Community College Retest Policy before attempting to schedule an appointment.

 

If you are ineligible to retest, you will be blocked from making an appointment using the online self-service tool.

 

 

Other Testing Options

Stand-By Testing 

If you find that a testing session is full, you can request to test as a Stand-By.

 

Students will be seated on a first come, first served basis. Testing stations are reserved for those with appointments.

 

  • Check your testing eligibility.
  • Be prepared to test.
  • Check in a the front desk, (RSS 144) at least ten minutes before the testing session that you want to attend.
  • Present a valid photo ID at check in.
Tuesday & Wednesday Evening Drop-In Testing Program

Can't make any of our day testing sessions? 

 

Evening Testing on a first come, first served basis as seating is available.

 

  1. Language Arts (English / ESL) Placement Test
  2. Math Placement Test
  3. Biology 40A Exam
  • Check your testing eligibility.
  • Be prepared to test.
  • Go to the Assessment Center Front Desk (RSS 144) between 4:00 -4:45PM on your preferred Tuesday or Wednesday.
  • Present a valid photo ID at check in.
  • Students must complete testing by 5:45PM.
